Minimum standard:
- every chapter must advance at least one main obligation
- every chapter must carry at least one emotional or structural debt forward
- every chapter must identify recall and return pressure when the project has recurring density
- every chapter must expose one human pressure, not only chapter logistics
- every chapter must either define scene progression or consciously justify a looser structure
- every chapter may use as few or as many scene units as the chapter genuinely needs
- every chapter must state how benchmark expectations were met or intentionally down-weighted
- every chapter must define dialogue, suspense, or structure tasks when those pressures are active
- every chapter must mark authenticity focus when prose risks generic drift
- if titled chapters are active, every control card must generate
3-5candidates and choose one working title - a chapter title must signal pressure, orientation, or residue rather than summarize the whole chapter
- a working title may change after drafting if the chapter's true center moved
- every hook must connect to an existing line, not a random surprise
