Register a per-user Explorer verb that passes the selected file to EdgeEver. The original file stays in place, and each selected file becomes its own note.
Finder was handing the share extension a file-id URL, which was stored as a fake WeChat zip and failed with the chat import dialog. Copy the real file, keep its name, and turn anything that is not a WeChat chat into a note.
Remove the desktop local data directory field from the system info panel,
avoiding exposing local usernames and account hashes in screenshots or
copies, and cleaning up unused diagnostic references.
Reload the hidden Chromium renderer once it has been in the background long
enough or its working set is high, after flushing the open draft. Restore the
last notebook and memo from session storage so reopening the window does not
land on a blank first note.
Show the connected instance URL on desktop and mobile, and the local
data directory on desktop. Keep both out of GitHub feedback. Relabel
health-check latency and distinguish an empty sync queue from never
having synced.
Full-screen capture finishes before Electron can deliver a duplicate tray
click, so keep the capture locked through a short cooldown and drop a
second import of the same screenshot.
The brand mark was too padded and anti-aliased for 16px, so template
tinting turned it into a faint gray outline. The tray icon is now
larger and strictly black-on-transparent.
One click from the tray now hides EdgeEver, grabs the full screen, and
creates a note whose body already contains the screenshot. IPC restores
PNG bytes that Electron serializes as Buffer JSON, and a failed upload
deletes the empty placeholder instead of leaving a blank note.
Replace the old E menu-bar mark with the cat brand template, and swap the unused sync/backup tray actions for an interactive screenshot that saves into a note.
Desktop, Android, and iOS call the configured model API after a short prepare hop so Cloudflare no longer sits in the token path. The web app probes CORS first and direct-connects only when the host allows it; blocked hosts keep using the instance proxy without downloading the API key.
Stop holding downloaded desktop updates until the connected instance
catches up. When the client is newer, system info shows a small hint
that some features may not work yet and that the instance can update
automatically each day or be updated manually.
v1.63.0 moved the packaged renderer from file:// (Origin null) to
edgeever-app://app. Instance CORS still only allowed local Vite and
null, so desktop login failed as network_unreachable.
