TestRotateSpreadsSessions is new and fails (after 2 and 4 requests) without the change. go vet, go build (darwin, GOOS=linux nogui, GOOS=windows), the gateway package and go test -race -count=20 of TestRotateSpreadsSessions/TestAffinity pass; go test -tags nogui ./... under a temp HOME failed only TestWSLProbeFindsBunOmp, TestProvidersAnswerWhileListsComeIn, TestUserPath and TestClaudeSignedOut under the full run's load, each passing on its own.
