Where no shell and curl/wget can run, Grok Build is now installed as its installer does, from the same x.ai/cli (then its storage bucket) address: the stable version, its binary for the platform, checked with --version, linked as ~/.grok/bin/grok and agent, installer = "internal" noted in its config.toml; the plugin's sign-in installs it first too. The device sign-in itself needs nothing back from the browser and was fine. sessions: a Sessions page lists an agent's sessions by folder, to resume or delete, and deleted ones wait in magpie's trash to be restored (TJHHHH on Discord: session management like CC Switch's, deleting above all, in the GUI) — sessions were only seen on Usage, with no way to remove one. The new Sessions tab shows, per agent, every session under the folder it ran in, with its title or first prompt, when, how many messages and how big, a filter, its resume command to copy and, in the Mac app, Open in terminal. Picked sessions (or one, by its own button) are deleted after magpie's own dialog: their files (Claude Code's .jsonl, its subagents folder and what it keeps by the id under file-history, session-env and todos; every segment of a Codex rollout; Qoder's, WorkBuddy's, Pi's, oh-my-pi's) are moved into magpie's folder, trash/sessions/<agent>/<when>-<id>, with a manifest, never erased; Trash lists them and Restore puts them back where they were. A session written to in the last minute is left, and said so, as the agent may still be running it. Agents' own indexes (Codex's session_index.jsonl and state database, Claude Code's history.jsonl) are not edited: they are written while the agent runs, and a stale entry there is harmless. OpenCode, ZCode, dsh, Cline and Grok keep sessions in databases magpie doesn't write, and show no delete. With nine tabs the narrowest header gets a further step that draws the tabs in, and past that they scroll sideways rather than push the page wider (560px in English, or at 150% text). The dialog uses the shared confirmAsk/closeConfirmAsk, as the gateway keys' do. TestListAgent, TestDeleteRestoreClaude, TestDeleteRestoreCodex, TestDeleteActiveRefused (fails without the running check) and TestDeleteOnlyKnownAgents run in a temp HOME; sessions-manage.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit, en, zh) fails without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass; sessions-manage, click-scroll, old-webkit, text-size, session-terminal, sessions-today, brand, rail-tip, web-page, omarchy, model-test-one, gateway-caller-keys, gateway-connect-keys, api-key-usage, api-key-theme pass.

autostart: a magpie opened at login comes back from "update and restart" on the Mac (悠悠哥 on Discord: 更新后开机自启动没了) — open at login was never lost: the Mac's launch agent runs magpie as a launchd job, and launchd ends whatever a job started once the job exits, so the shell update.Relaunch leaves to open the new version was killed as magpie quit and magpie never came back. The launch agent now carries AbandonProcessGroup, and the desktop app rewrites one an older magpie wrote in the current form at start, keeping the program path it names; with none it stays off, and a launch agent magpie didn't write is left alone. Two throwaway launchd jobs showed children, detached ones too, killed on the job's exit without the key and living with it. TestLaunchAgentLetsTheRelaunchLive and TestRefreshOlderLaunchAgent fail without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass.

gateway: a request archive, off unless turned on, keeps each call's headers and bodies in the user's own S3 bucket and a recent call reads its own back (Jorben on Discord: 请求存档) — the Gateway page's recent calls only ever held the last bodies in memory, the first 256 KB of each, with no headers, gone at a restart. A switch over Recent calls ("Request archive", POST /api/settings/archive, settings' requestArchive) turns it on, refused with a reason while sync isn't set up with an s3:// bucket; with it on, each call the gateway serves gets an id (UTC HHMMSS-<16 hex>, said back in X-Magpie-Archive-Id) and, once it is recorded, its method, path and query, request headers and body and response status, headers and body go as one JSON file to <prefix>/magpie/archive/<YYYY-MM-DD>/<id>.json in the bucket sync keeps its backup in, signed with the same client (davsync.Bucket, no new SDK). Before anything leaves, Authorization, x-api-key, Cookie, Set-Cookie, any header or JSON field or query parameter named for a key, token, secret or password, and anything that looks like a key or token anywhere in the text (the redaction rules' patterns, in a stream's data lines too) become [REDACTED] — gone, no placeholder kept; the archive is plain JSON, readable in the bucket, not sealed with the passphrase. Uploads go one at a time on their own goroutine from a queue of 16 calls, each body capped at the 256 KB the call already keeps and marked truncated; a full queue drops the call with a log line, a failed upload is logged and shown under the switch until the next one goes, and no request waits on any of it. A recent call the archive kept shows its date and id under its bodies, and "Fetch from archive" (GET /api/archive?date=&id=, only a date and an id of that shape) shows the request's and response's headers and bodies as the bucket has them, or says it isn't there yet. The hook is in record() and the Call literal, so PR #239's request log lines are not touched; the archived call carries its usage, and with #239 its vendor request id. Only calls through serve() are archived, not Codex's backend, image or video calls. TestArchiveOn, TestArchiveOff, TestArchiveName, TestRequestArchiveToS3 (a real gateway request through the signature-checking fake S3), TestScrub and request-archive.test.cjs fail without the change; TestSettingsSaveKeepsWhatItDoesNotSend now sets requestArchive. A sandbox magpie web with a fake vendor and a fake S3 server uploaded nothing while off; on, it uploaded a signed archive with none of eight planted secrets in it, read it back through /api/archive and in the page, and with the S3 server down served the call in 0.1 s and said why the upload failed. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (Claude account tests and TestClaudeRunEndsWhenTheClientLeaves pass alone); request-archive, click-scroll, old-webkit, sse-body, gateway-fold pass.

web: the page asks for no Wails runtime in a browser, and its files are asked for again by their content (Jorben on Discord: in the remote web UI the Gateway page had no 请求存档 switch and the usage charts no icons, and /wails/runtime.js was a 404) — nothing in the page or the server holds the archive switch or the charts back from magpie web: the same Handler serves both, /api/settings/archive, /api/archive and /api/usage/requests are there behind the web key, and a sandbox magpie web of v0.1.578 and of main, opened in headless Chromium at 127.0.0.1 and at a non-loopback host, drew the switch with no page error. The 404 was the page's import of /wails/runtime.js, which the app's window has and a browser doesn't; it was caught, and only Close and Maximise use it, so it broke nothing, but a browser now never asks for it. What can hide a version's new parts is an older app.js: the page's files went out with no Cache-Control, no ETag and no date (an embedded file has none), so a cache in front of magpie web (a proxy, a CDN, a tunnel's) could keep an older version's app.js under the new index.html, untouched by a cleared browser cache or a private window. They now go out with Cache-Control: no-cache and an ETag of their content's hash, an unchanged one a 304; boot.js stays no-store, the web key's guard still answers first. TestPageFilesRevalidate and web-page.test.cjs fail without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass; web-page, request-archive, click-scroll, old-webkit, usage-ledger-chart, gateway-fold, model-test-one pass.

catalog: fetched again each day magpie stays open, and sooner when a call's model has no price, so a model models.dev lists after magpie started is priced (#224 Koohoko: gpt-6.1-sol shows no cost) — the models.dev catalog, where list prices come from, was fetched only at the app's start (when older than a week), so a magpie left open, or magpie serve, never learned a new model's price. KeepFresh (internal/catalog/fresh.go), run by the app's backend and by magpie serve, looks every hour and fetches when the cache is older than a day; a call whose model has no price asks for a fetch (catalog.Missing, from usage's pricer) when the cache is older than six hours and none was tried in that time, only in a process keeping it fresh, so CLI commands and tests never fetch on their own. Loading and Reset now share a mutex instead of a sync.Once reassigned under a running Do, which a background Sync could hit while a call was being priced. Tested with fresh_test.go against a fake models.dev in a temp XDG_CACHE_HOME: stale after 25h and not before, Missing fetching nothing when not keeping, fetching once when keeping and gpt-6.1-sol then priced, and not again; passes under -race (failed under -race with the Once). go vet, go build -tags nogui (and GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows) and go test -tags nogui ./... pass.

agent: OmO (oh-my-openagent, omo-ai), a fork of Pi that keeps its own ~/.omo/agent, gets its own row: a magpie model sets settings.json's defaultProvider/defaultModel and magpie's provider in models.json there as Pi's does, $OMO_CODING_AGENT_DIR / $SENPI_CODING_AGENT_DIR are honoured, the Library writes its AGENTS.md, mcp.json and skills, and omo update updates it (#264 rhyme227). settings: a Text size preference (文字大小) that makes everything in magpie's windows larger, 100/110/125/150%, with Ctrl/Cmd + = − 0 in the window and the tray panel, and Windows' text drawn in its own UI faces (Discord, Clarence Dan: the font size is hard on the eyes on Windows) — Settings → Preferences gains a Text size row under Language whose pick posts to a new POST /api/settings/text-size (saved as settings.TextSize, validated against 100/110/125/150, 0 read as 100, and kept by the Settings page's general save, which never sends it). The size is each webview's own zoom, as a browser zooms, not CSS zoom: CSS zoom leaves getBoundingClientRect and clientX in zoomed pixels while offsets, scrollTop and 100vh are not, and app.js, routing.js and library.js place menus, popovers and the panel's height by those measures; under the webview's zoom the page is laid out again in fewer, larger CSS pixels and every measure agrees. Windows and Linux use Wails' SetZoom (WebView2's zoom factor, WebKitGTK's zoom level; the Zoom window option at creation, so the pages open at the saved size), the Mac WKWebView.pageZoom through cgo (macOS 11+), since Wails' Mac zoom is magnification, which lays nothing out again. None is under 100% because Wails clamps SetZoom below 1 on Windows and Linux. The windows grow around the pages: the panel's width and the height its page asks for (still in CSS pixels) are multiplied by the zoom, capped at the screen's work area (textsize.go panelFrame), and resized at once when the size changes; the main window's minimum is 560×420 CSS pixels at the size, capped by the screen, so a window smaller than that grows. Runtime changes wait for the app to be ready (whenReady), and at startup the Mac applies the zoom once its webviews exist. The Mac header, drawn under the native traffic lights which do not grow, divides its height, left padding and the modal's top by --zoom (set from boot.js before the first paint and from the settings), so it stays 50 points tall and level with them. The shortcuts are Cmd on the Mac and Ctrl elsewhere (the other modifier does nothing), step through the sizes and 0 goes back to 100%, with a "Text size 125%" toast; in magpie web the row is hidden and the keys are left to the browser's own zoom. On Windows the page names its faces (html.win): Segoe UI Variable Text, Segoe UI, then Microsoft YaHei UI for Chinese rather than whatever WebView2 falls back to; the Mac and Linux stack is unchanged, and there is no automatic size bump. New strings in en and zh. Tested: internal/gui/tests/text-size.test.cjs in Chromium and WebKit, en and zh, light and dark — a pick posts and does not scroll the settings page, stays picked after a reload with --zoom from boot.js, the Settings page's other saves leave it, the shortcuts step and reset in the window and the panel, and at 150% (the smallest window, 840×630 points, as 560×420 CSS pixels at device scale 1.5) no view, the header or the panel runs off to the side, the Mac header is 50 points; screenshots at 100% and 150% looked at. currency.test.cjs's viewport is 480 tall instead of 420, as settings-groups' is: the new row put the Currency control under the footer, where WebKit's hover could not reach it. Go: TestTextSizeFrames (panel and window sizes) and TestTextSizeSetting (the endpoint saves, zooms the windows, rejects 133, survives the general save, boot.js carries it) in internal/gui, and the settings round trip. go build -tags nogui (and GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows, plain darwin), go test -tags nogui ./... (TestUserPath flaked once under load and passes alone) and the whole GUI suite with --test-concurrency=2 pass. Not tried in the real Wails window on any platform: the Mac pageZoom, WebView2's zoom factor with the resized panel and the Windows font are untested there.

Not tried in the real Wails window on any platform: the Mac pageZoom, WebView2's zoom factor with the resized panel and the Windows font are untested there.

routing: a group's member can be sent in its vendor's fast mode, beside its own reasoning (vs on Discord: a member "gpt-6.1 sol · high · fast") — a member's effort was already its own (#189, "provider/model:effort") but there was no way to ask for speed, so a group could not hold "gpt-6.1-sol at high, priority" next to slower members. A group now lists in fast the members it sends fast, as Members spells them, kept beside Members rather than in their ids so an older version still routes to them, only not fast (checked: HEAD's build on the same providers.json sends the same members at their effort, no tier, and leaves the file as it was). When the gateway sends to such a member it asks in the upstream's own words, only where the model has a fast mode magpie can ask for (provider.CanFast): service_tier "priority" for a ChatGPT account's GPT models and an OpenAI key's GPT/o-series models on its Responses API, Cursor's -fast variant, and speed "fast" with the fast-mode-2026-02-01 beta for Claude Opus 4.8/5/5.5 on an Anthropic key (api.anthropic.com); a relay, Bedrock, a Claude subscription, a model without one, or a provider since moved off those hosts is sent untouched. It is applied in the agent's own API and carried through translation (parseAnthropic now reads speed), so Chat, Responses and Anthropic agents all get it. A translated request for OpenAI's Chat API is still told no tier (TestCursorPluginFast), hence the Responses requirement. The trace marks the try, the order and the group (fast), shown as "fast" beside the reasoning in Requests and the order. Typed, a member is provider/model[:effort]:fast: magpie group add/set models=… takes it, fast=<m1>,… sets them, models-= takes either spelling, and the group lists and shows members as typed with "· fast"; a model with no fast mode, or a group in the group, is refused. The GUI group editor shows a "Standard speed"/"Fast" toggle (标准速度/快速) beside a member's reasoning only for a model that has one, the card reads "· fast" after the reasoning, and fast follows a member's reasoning change and leaves with a removed member; the TUI's group view takes E to step a member's effort and F to toggle fast. Provider renames carry it. TestFastMemberOpenAI, TestFastMemberAnthropic, TestWithFastWire (gateway, per wire format, a fake vendor recording body and anthropic-beta), TestCanFast, TestSaveGroupFast, TestGroupMembersFast, TestGroupMemberEffortAndFast, TestGroupSaveFast and group-member-fast.test.cjs fail without the change. library: an agent's own copy of a library skill gives way to it, and one that differs is settled from the warning (StringKe, JasonLeeForOnly on Discord: after Bring in all, "Claude Code already has a skill of its own called impeccable", 这里没有强制覆盖的能力) — a skill is brought in from the agent with the very folder and given to the agents that had that folder; another agent's copy (CC Switch copies a skill into each agent) was listed as "differs in" and left out, and giving the skill to it, or a copy put back into an agent after its folder became magpie's link (by CC Switch or whatever installed it), was a hard failure with no way out. A folder there holding the same files as the library's (bytes compared; .DS_Store, .git and magpie's copy mark aside) is now set aside into backups/<when>/<agent>/skills and the library's linked in its place; a skill brought in takes the agents with such a copy too, which are no longer said to differ; a move that copied it all but couldn't remove the folder brings it in all the same, what was left set aside. One that differs keeps the warning, now in the reader's language with "Use the library's" (the agent's set aside, the library's linked) and "Keep <agent>'s" (the agent, and any reading the same folder, taken off the skill) on its row — skills/use-library and skills/keep-own, magpie library skill use-library|keep-own <name> <agent>, which the CLI suggests under the problem. Backups holding a skill set aside are never pruned. TestOwnSkillInTheWay, TestSameTree, TestPruneKeepsSkillsSetAside and own-skill.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit, en/zh) fail without the change; TestSharedAgentsSkills now expects the byte copy to be the library's. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass; own-skill, import-all-skills, library-items, shared-skills, market-have, click-scroll, old-webkit pass.

gui: the Mac window opens on the Space you are on, and closing it in full screen leaves no black Space (StringKe on Discord) — magpie keeps no window position, so what stuck was macOS's own: the window, made with only full-screen-primary, belonged to the Space it was last shown on and Open took the user there; restarted to update while another app was full screen, it joined that app's Space for good. It now also moves to the active Space whenever shown (130, can still go full screen: checked in AppKit, enter and exit both report). Closing a full-screen window hid it where it was, leaving its full-screen Space empty and black; it now leaves full screen first and hides on WindowDidExitFullScreen (3s fallback), and an Open meanwhile keeps it. TestMainWindowFollowsActiveSpace and TestCloseStepLeavesFullscreen fail without the change. go vet, go build (darwin GUI), go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass.

omarchy: on Omarchy, magpie is drawn in Omarchy's own design language, follows its theme, drops its panel under the bar as Omarchy's own menus do, and can put its icon in Omarchy's bar (让整个UI/UX完全符合Omarchy的设计语言…单独对Omarchy做这个支持,现在的UI/UX当然要保留) — on Hyprland magpie looked like any other GTK app: its own light/dark palette, rounded shadowed popups, and a tray panel floated framed and dimmed in the middle of the screen, labelled with the program's name, never closing on a click elsewhere (focus follows the mouse there, so Wails turns off focus-lost hiding), and its tray icon was hidden in the bar's drawer. Now, only when Omarchy is detected (internal/omarchy: ~/.local/share/omarchy and its current theme), boot.js hands the page the current theme (colors.toml, the shell's theme TOML, Hyprland's border size, colour and rounding, Omarchy's font) as CSS variables before the first paint, and omarchy.css, all under html.omarchy, draws flat as Omarchy's shell does: the theme's background, no shadows or blur, corners as round as Hyprland's windows, popups and dialogs framed by the active border's colour, uppercase letter-spaced labels, rows and picks as a faint fill with the text in the accent. /api/omarchy is polled every 2.5s, so a theme picked in Omarchy's menu reaches the windows at once; Settings → Appearance shows the theme's name instead of Light/Dark/System. Under Hyprland the tray panel gets a title of its own ("magpie panel", set through GTK since Wails leaves frameless windows untitled), and each opening gives Hyprland a named Lua window rule placing it under the bar at the click, 6px in from the edges, pinned, opaque, borderless; its height is capped to the work area. While it is open a non-consuming left-click bind emits a custom event on Hyprland's socket2; a click outside the panel and below the bar closes it (the bar is left to its icons, so the icon toggles), and the bind is removed on close or, after Escape, on the next click. The tray item's SNI id is "magpie" instead of "Wails", so it can be pinned. Settings → Bar icon (状态栏图标), shown only in the app on Omarchy's Hyprland, puts an Omarchy bar-widget plugin (usemagpie.magpie, a bird glyph, in ~/.config/omarchy/plugins, then rescanPlugins and plugin enable) beside Omarchy's own icons: a click runs magpie panel, a right-click magpie app; Off disables and removes it; a widget pointing at a moved or older magpie is rewritten at start. magpie panel (new) opens the quick panel, starting magpie if needed, or toggles it in the running instance. Elsewhere nothing changes. Tested in a Hyper-V VM on the latest Omarchy (Hyprland 0.56, 2528×960 at scale 1.6): the look with tokyo-night; the panel at [1134,32] under the bar; clicks on the panel and the bar keep it open, a click on another window closes it, the icon toggles it, Escape closes it and the bind goes; Bar icon On adds the bird to the bar, its click opens the panel under it (also with magpie not running), a second click closes it, right-click opens the window, Off removes it; autostart becomes app-magpie@autostart through systemd's XDG generator; the launcher entry and icon are there. Go: internal/omarchy tests (theme parsing, panel placement on scaled and turned monitors, click-outside geometry, widget files quoted with the executable, KeepWidget rewriting only a stale one). A new internal/gui/tests/omarchy.test.cjs, Chromium and WebKit, en and zh: with no Omarchy theme the page has no omarchy class or theme style, the Appearance choices show, no Bar icon row, nothing asked of /api/omarchy; with one, the theme's background, square corners, its name, and Bar icon's On and Off each posted with nothing scrolled, hidden when the bar isn't there. old-webkit now lets omarchy.js load in the head beside boot.js (it does nothing off Omarchy). The full GUI suite, gofmt, go vet, go build (GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows) and go test -tags nogui ./... pass. Not tried: other Hyprland setups than Omarchy's, a multi-monitor VM, and the GTK4 build in the VM (gtk3 was used).

gui: the Windows tray panel no longer shows a faint close X over its Settings gear — its caption buttons are hidden there (#238 mintonight: a blurry red X at the panel's top-right corner, just above and right of the gear) — Wails v3 makes a frameless window on Windows WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW and, for the shadow and round corners, extends DWM's frame into the whole client area; the panel left its close button at the zero value, ButtonEnabled, which sets WS_SYSMENU, so DWM drew the caption's close X into that extended frame at the window's top right, and with the panel translucent (BackgroundTypeTranslucent, WS_EX_NOREDIRECTIONBITMAP, a see-through webview) it showed through the page, faint, over the gear. It was not the page: #winclose is removed everywhere but Linux's window, and is a grey pill in the header row. The panel's options move into panelOptions(goos, theme), unchanged, and on Windows its close, minimise and maximise buttons are ButtonHidden, which takes WS_SYSMENU and the min/max boxes off, so DWM has no caption buttons to draw; DisableFramelessWindowDecorations stays off, so the shadow and Windows 11's round corners stay. The Mac and Linux get the same options as before (their button states left at the zero value), and the main window is not touched. Tested with a new internal/gui/panel_options_test.go (!nogui): on windows the three buttons are hidden and the panel still frameless, translucent, off the taskbar and decorated; on darwin and linux the buttons are as before and URL, backdrop and corner radius unchanged; run on the Mac and compiled for Windows (GOOS=windows go test -c). go build -tags nogui (and GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build and go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestUserPath, TestClaudeSignedOut and TestClaudeAccountNamedAsItsLogin timed out once at a load average near 60 and pass alone). Not tried on a real Windows desktop: that DWM stops drawing the X without WS_SYSMENU is from the Win32 custom-frame behaviour and Wails' code, not seen.

plugins: magpie keeps the Bun plugins run on up to date by itself (the user: 我们能否自动去管理一个bun的版本?去自动的下载并维护这个bun的版本到最新版) — plugins ran on the one Bun magpie pinned, or on whatever $MAGPIE_BUN pointed at. Every six hours (first two minutes after start), while there are plugins, magpie now asks GitHub for Bun's newest release and takes it once it has been out two days: downloaded, its SHA-256 checked against Bun's SHASUMS, tried (it says its version, and runs a script with AsyncLocalStorage, fetch and fs), then switched to, the host restarted gracefully so a streaming reply finishes on the old one. BunVersion is the floor; the Bun before stays on disk, and a new one whose try fails, or that the host won't start on, is set aside for the one before and never taken again (bun/state.json). $MAGPIE_BUN is left alone. Plugins' page and magpie plugins show the version in use. TestCheckBunTakesASettledRelease, TestCheckBunWaitsAndKeepsTheFloor, TestCheckBunSetsAsideOneThatFailsItsTry, TestTryBunOnRealBun and TestHostFallsBackWhenTheNewBunDies pass on macOS, Linux and Windows; a real run from 1.3.14 to GitHub's 1.4.2 started the host on all three. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestFetchNewLeavesListedPlugins failed once under load, passes alone).

A Jev provider (TypeSafe, Vercel, Cloudflare) now has a "Jev endpoint" field, the preset's address to start with, kept on save and shown again when it's opened; a preset with no decision API is given none. agents: a provider switched off or removed, or its last account signed out, moves the agents on its models to others (#200: 希望关闭某个llm provider的时候,更改agent选择的model到可用的model … 关闭这个provider之后,第一次使用会报错,因为copilot/ 开头的模型不存在) — switching Copilot off took copilot/… out of the catalog and the agents' model lists, but an agent picked on one kept it in its config and its next request was refused as switched off. Now every field on one of magpie's models (the model, Claude Code's opus/sonnet/haiku/fable tiers, any other) whose model the change stopped serving is moved: to the same model from a provider still on, the same id first, else one spelt another way (claude-sonnet-4.5 and claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929), else back to the agent's own default (a Claude Code tier: following the main model). It is done around switching off, removing, a key removed or off, and a sign-in signed out or off, in the window, the tray panel, the TUI and the CLI; the page's status line, the TUI and the CLI say which agent went to what. A session started before the switch still asks for the old model: the gateway now takes a switched-off provider's model as unserved, so Claude Code's stand-in (its model as set now) answers it rather than a refusal. Tested in a sandbox HOME: Claude Code on the main model and three tiers plus Hermes, switched off and removed (same id, other spelling, default, a tier following), switched on again moving nothing; /api/provider/off returns the moves; the gateway serves a switched-off model through the stand-in (fails without the change) and still refuses it to an agent left on it

windows: the desktop app no longer opens a console window for every command it runs (#54) — it is linked as a GUI program and has no console, so each console CLI it started (devin auth status and models list, devin acp for every Devin turn, claude, codex, cursor-agent and grok probes and runs, grok login) was given a new console by Windows, and a Windows Terminal window with it, some every few seconds while the app sat idle. Every command magpie runs is now made through internal/proc, which starts it with CREATE_NO_WINDOW when magpie has no console of its own: the child gets a console without a window, and its output, which magpie always pipes back, arrives as before. A magpie run in a terminal (magpie serve, the TUI, the desktop app started from one with a command) has one, and its children share it as they did, so Ctrl+C there still reaches them. The relaunch after an update keeps its DETACHED_PROCESS, added to rather than replacing the flags it was made with, and a test fails on any command made with os/exec directly, so a new one can't bring the windows back

TestListAgent, TestDeleteRestoreClaude, TestDeleteRestoreCodex, TestDeleteActiveRefused (fails without the running check) and TestDeleteOnlyKnownAgents run in a temp HOME; sessions-manage.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit, en, zh) fails without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass; sessions-manage, click-scroll, old-webkit, text-size, session-terminal, sessions-today, brand, rail-tip, web-page, omarchy, model-test-one, gateway-caller-keys, gateway-connect-keys, api-key-usage, api-key-theme pass.

agents: a model picked for Claude Code (or any agent) shows on its row at once, in the window and the tray panel, and /api/set answers in ~0.1s instead of seconds (Discord: switching Claude Code's model took 5–10s to show, magpie 0.1.410+) — /api/set writes the config and answers with the whole state, and the frontend drew the pick only from that answer. Every state asked the devin CLI (devin models list, ~1.5–3s a run) again several times whenever Devin was installed: its model's family, its options, its effort's options and Drift's re-read, and a CLI that gave no list (signed out, offline) was asked anew on every state, since only a list was cached. With a 4s CLI one set took 28s (measured, before). Now DevinFamilies keeps a failure for a minute, serves a list past its 5 minutes while it is read again in the background, and only a caller with nothing known waits — never one marked DevinNoWait, which Devin's field reads and options are (its Set still waits, so what is written is unchanged). Goose's detection read a binary's whole build info on every state (~150ms); the answer is kept while the file's size and time are the same. In the page, commit() draws the picked model and its flash before /api/set is sent, then draws the answer (a later pick's answer winning over an earlier one's); a refused pick puts the old model back and gives the reason. What is written to the agent's config is as before. Measured in a sandbox HOME with magpie web: /api/state 2.8–3.1s and /api/set 2.9s before, 0.1–0.5s after (state() ~110ms steady in-process); a provider whose endpoint never answers made no difference either way. Tested with internal/gui/set_fast_unix_test.go (devin CLI that sleeps 4s and a provider that never answers: three sets and the states after them each under 1.5s, ~5ms, settings.json as before; fails before the fix at 28s a set) and internal/gui/tests/model-pick.test.cjs (a set held 2.5s: the pick shown within 600ms in the window scrolled and in the tray panel's opened row and line, the page not moved, the answer keeping it, a refusal restoring the old model, en and zh, Chromium and WebKit; fails on main). click-scroll, panel-fold, menu-scroll, agy-launch, cli-update and old-webkit pass. go build -tags nogui (and GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows), go vet and go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestClaudeAccountNamedAsItsLogin failed under load and passes alone). Not tried in the real Wails window or tray, nor with a real signed-in Devin CLI.

settings: a Text size preference (文字大小) that makes everything in magpie's windows larger, 100/110/125/150%, with Ctrl/Cmd + = − 0 in the window and the tray panel, and Windows' text drawn in its own UI faces (Discord, Clarence Dan: the font size is hard on the eyes on Windows) — Settings → Preferences gains a Text size row under Language whose pick posts to a new POST /api/settings/text-size (saved as settings.TextSize, validated against 100/110/125/150, 0 read as 100, and kept by the Settings page's general save, which never sends it). Not tried in the real Wails window on any platform: the Mac pageZoom, WebView2's zoom factor with the resized panel and the Windows font are untested there.

omarchy: on Omarchy, magpie is drawn in Omarchy's own design language, follows its theme, drops its panel under the bar as Omarchy's own menus do, and can put its icon in Omarchy's bar (让整个UI/UX完全符合Omarchy的设计语言…单独对Omarchy做这个支持,现在的UI/UX当然要保留) — on Hyprland magpie looked like any other GTK app: its own light/dark palette, rounded shadowed popups, and a tray panel floated framed and dimmed in the middle of the screen, labelled with the program's name, never closing on a click elsewhere (focus follows the mouse there, so Wails turns off focus-lost hiding), and its tray icon was hidden in the bar's drawer. The full GUI suite, gofmt, go vet, go build (GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows) and go test -tags nogui ./... pass. tray: the menu bar shows several subscriptions' usage side by side (KevinXC on Discord) — Settings → Usage in the menu bar picked one card; its menu now ticks any number (kept open while ticking, saved once when it closes, Off unticks all, a ticked card that has gone stays listed to untick) and the pill says "3 subscriptions". settings.TrayUsages keeps them in order; a file with only the older trayUsage shows that one, and trayUsage is still written as the first for an older magpie. On the Mac the bird and a cell per card are drawn as one image by AppKit on the status item's button: the card's logo (a black glyph tinted in the menu bar's text colour, a coloured one as it is, the name's letter in a ring when there is none) and its two windows stacked, "42%" over "18%", in the bar's colour light or dark and sharp at any scale; the bird's flap goes through it. providers, sign-in, tray, plugins: four of StringKe's reports on Discord — (1) Removing a provider left its editor open and listed, and a second Remove said there was no such provider: the removal had been made, but moving the agents off its models failed on one agent whose config couldn't be written, and Reseat returned that as the change's error; now such an agent is a move with its error ("still on X, not moved: …", a warning in the panel, a line in the CLI and TUI), the others are moved, and the panel, told a delete failed, re-reads the list and closes the editor when the provider is gone. (2) The sign-in waiting sheet shows the sign-in link itself, selected whole on a click, with a copy button, for a browser other than the one that opens. (3) A subscription with several accounts offers "Account in use" among the menu bar's usages, following the account the gateway goes to first. (4) The Antigravity plugin's sign-in never started: magpie called every plugin's authorize with an inputs object, the way OpenCode's CLI does, and opencode-antigravity-auth then asked its Project ID on the terminal — magpie's stdin — until the minute ran out; inputs now go only to a method with prompts, as OpenCode's TUI passes them (checked against the real package under Bun in a sandbox: the Google sign-in URL comes back at once). TestReseatUnmovable, TestTrayInUse, TestInUseOf, TestAuthorizeNoPrompts, provider-remove.test.cjs, signin-link.test.cjs and tray-inuse.test.cjs fail without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass; click-scroll, old-webkit, tray-usages, plugin-signin, signin-callback, factory-sub pass.

usage: a custom balance's card says when it was read, shows each of its amounts on a line of its own and a percent as a meter (#420 by emo172: 余额卡片显示读取时间、百分比进度条) — a balance read from a provider's own Balance URL showed one line, "Balance $2.00 · Today $2.50 · Used 90%", and nothing said how old it was. magpie now hands the card the amounts the user's expression names, each with its label, and a "%" one's share; the Usage page shows each on a line of its own, the user's label quiet and the first amount the larger, "Balance" only where no label was given, and a percent as the quota meter, amber from 90%. gui: a model kept for routing groups is said, not silently gone (悠悠哥 on Discord: after turning on 只通过路由分组使用, hy4 vanished from the agents' model lists) — a provider set to "Only through routing groups" (Unlisted) keeps its models out of provider.Catalog(), which feeds every agent's picker, /v1/models and the configs magpie writes; Served() still serves them, but only to the routing groups they are in or a request naming the id. A model in no group was therefore usable by nothing the UI offers, and nothing said so. The option keeps its purpose (the models stay out of the lists); instead /api/state now carries the unlisted models with the groups each is in, and the picker, finding one in its filter, says why it isn't offered: in a group, "agents reach hy3 by picking Mine" with a "Pick Mine" button; in none, "no agent can use it" with "Make a routing group of it", which opens the Routing page on a new group of that model (from the tray panel, the window is opened on it through window/main?view=routing&newgroup=…). The provider's editor, while the tick is on, names its exposed models in no group in amber, each a click from a group of its own (before saving, it says to make them in Routing once saved). /api/providers gives each model's groups. No left-border accent; the clicks scroll nothing (scrollOnPurpose). TestUnlistedModelsSaid and unlisted-models.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit, en/zh) fail without the change. gui, update: saving the Settings page keeps the models hidden from each agent, and update checks go through magpie's proxy and say so (#294: 设置代理之后只有模型代理生效了,代理没有用于检查 magpie 是否有更新) — POST /api/settings carried over the models' names, levels and images but not HiddenModels, which the page never sends, so changing the theme, the language or anything else there showed every model hidden one by one on the Agents page again; it is carried over with the others. The update feed and the release came through http.DefaultTransport, proxied only because main installs netproxy first; the update client now takes netproxy.Func on a transport of its own (Settings' Proxy, else *_PROXY, else the system's). A check that failed at start-up, before a proxy was set, stayed failed for six hours: saving a new proxy now checks again through it. And the Settings row read "requests to vendors go through {proxy}", which says update checks don't: it now names both. TestSettingsSaveKeepsWhatItDoesNotSend (every field prefsKeep doesn't send survives a save of the theme alone; fails on main with HiddenModels emptied), TestUpdateGoesThroughTheProxy (feed and asset at hosts only a local proxy answers; fails without the transport), TestSettingsProxyRechecksAFailedUpdate (fails without the re-check). account-proxy, provider-proxy and click-scroll GUI tests pass; go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestUserPath, TestClaudeSignedOut, TestClaudeAccountNamedAsItsLogin, known flakes under load, pass alone).

update: a restart to update from the open window (Windows, Linux) opens the window again, on the tab it was asked from, instead of the tray icon alone (#275 Aimer779: 设置页更新重启后主窗口消失,只剩托盘) — RelaunchBinary always started magpie tray, autostart's argument, so the new version came up as a tray icon however the update was asked for; the Mac reopens its .app and was fine. The window's Update pill and Settings' "Restart to update" send the tab they're on, the new process starts as magpie gui <tab>; the tray menu's Restart to Update brings the window back if it was open and keeps to the tray if not; autostart stays tray. magpie gui <tab> / magpie app <tab> open the window on that tab, and hand it to a magpie already running. The MAGPIE_REPLACES handover is unchanged: the new process waits for the old one before its single-instance lock. Tested with TestRelaunchArgs and TestRelaunchBinaryArgs (a script in magpie's place is started with gui settings <pid> / tray <pid>); go vet, go build (GUI and -tags nogui, GOOS=linux, GOOS=windows), go test -tags nogui ./... pass.
