gui: Claude Code's model picker shows each model once (#496) — the rows magpie serves on the very Claude account Claude Code is signed in to fold into one, and models.dev's alias and dated id of one model are one row
settings: portable mode — a data folder beside magpie keeps everything magpie keeps (#508, suixinex) — like VS Code's portable mode, a folder named "data" (or a file named ".portable", the data folder then made beside it) next to magpie makes it keep all its own files there instead of the user's profile. "Beside magpie" is the folder holding the executable with links followed; for a Mac app the folder holding Magpie.app (inside the bundle would break its signature), and for an AppImage the folder holding the .AppImage, not where it is mounted. netproxy: a host whose IPv6 takes the connection and drops it is reached over IPv4 (tony on Discord: models.dev sync and the update check failed with a bare EOF, direct or auto, while curl got through) — behind a TUN (xray) without IPv6 out, a connection to a site's IPv6 address is accepted, so the dialer's own fallback to IPv4 never starts, and closed once TLS begins. A connection to an IPv6 address that ends before a byte comes back now marks its host:port to be dialed over IPv4 for 30 minutes, and the request that met it is sent once more over IPv4 when nothing of it can have reached the site (HTTPS, or an idempotent method) and its body can be had again; proxied requests and IPv4 connections are left as they are, and TLS, ALPN/HTTP/2, headers and bodies are unchanged. Every transport made with Dispatch (http.DefaultClient, the gateway's) and the update client get it. TestIPv4Fallback fails without the change (Get "https://example.com/": EOF). go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestFXInState flaked on TempDir cleanup under load, passes alone).

subscriptions: Qoder CN, for accounts on qoder.cn (#349) — Qoder's China site (qoder.cn, Alibaba Cloud or phone sign-in) has its own accounts, sign-in page, account API (openapi.qoder.com.cn) and gateway (gateway.qoder.com.cn), so a qoder.cn account couldn't sign in through magpie's Qoder, which only knows qoder.com. A new Qoder CN subscription signs in there with the client id Qoder CN's own CLI sends, and everything after — polling, job token and refresh, user info, models, usage and chat — follows the site saved with the account; if qoder.cn refuses the job token, the account chats with its device token and renews it, as that CLI does. Qoder's tile is now Qoder (international), each tile saying which accounts it is for. Accounts saved before keep working on qoder.com unchanged. Not tried with a real qoder.cn account. TestSites, TestCNDeviceChatRefresh, TestQoderCNSignIn, TestQoderCNDeviceChat, TestQoderGlobalUnchanged and TestQoderCNGateway fail without the change; qoder-cn-tile.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit, en/zh) added. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass but for TestCursorPluginContext, which fails on main (

gateway: a request archive, off unless turned on, keeps each call's headers and bodies in the user's own S3 bucket and a recent call reads its own back (Jorben on Discord: 请求存档) — the Gateway page's recent calls only ever held the last bodies in memory, the first 256 KB of each, with no headers, gone at a restart. A switch over Recent calls ("Request archive", POST /api/settings/archive, settings' requestArchive) turns it on, refused with a reason while sync isn't set up with an s3:// bucket; with it on, each call the gateway serves gets an id (UTC HHMMSS-<16 hex>, said back in X-Magpie-Archive-Id) and, once it is recorded, its method, path and query, request headers and body and response status, headers and body go as one JSON file to <prefix>/magpie/archive/<YYYY-MM-DD>/<id>.json in the bucket sync keeps its backup in, signed with the same client (davsync.Bucket, no new SDK). Before anything leaves, Authorization, x-api-key, Cookie, Set-Cookie, any header or JSON field or query parameter named for a key, token, secret or password, and anything that looks like a key or token anywhere in the text (the redaction rules' patterns, in a stream's data lines too) become [REDACTED] — gone, no placeholder kept; the archive is plain JSON, readable in the bucket, not sealed with the passphrase. Uploads go one at a time on their own goroutine from a queue of 16 calls, each body capped at the 256 KB the call already keeps and marked truncated; a full queue drops the call with a log line, a failed upload is logged and shown under the switch until the next one goes, and no request waits on any of it. A recent call the archive kept shows its date and id under its bodies, and "Fetch from archive" (GET /api/archive?date=&id=, only a date and an id of that shape) shows the request's and response's headers and bodies as the bucket has them, or says it isn't there yet. The hook is in record() and the Call literal, so PR #239's request log lines are not touched; the archived call carries its usage, and with #239 its vendor request id. Only calls through serve() are archived, not Codex's backend, image or video calls. TestArchiveOn, TestArchiveOff, TestArchiveName, TestRequestArchiveToS3 (a real gateway request through the signature-checking fake S3), TestScrub and request-archive.test.cjs fail without the change; TestSettingsSaveKeepsWhatItDoesNotSend now sets requestArchive. A sandbox magpie web with a fake vendor and a fake S3 server uploaded nothing while off; on, it uploaded a signed archive with none of eight planted secrets in it, read it back through /api/archive and in the page, and with the S3 server down served the call in 0.1 s and said why the upload failed. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (Claude account tests and TestClaudeRunEndsWhenTheClientLeaves pass alone); request-archive, click-scroll, old-webkit, sse-body, gateway-fold pass.
sessions: a session in magpie's trash can be erased for good, one at a time or the whole trash, after magpie's own dialog (#487: no way to empty the trash but removing its folder by hand) — the Sessions page's Trash only restored, and said magpie never erases what is in it: remove the folder yourself. Each trashed row now has Delete forever and the Trash an Empty trash, with the count of what is in it; both ask in magpie's dialog, as Delete does (never confirm()), naming the sessions, and Cancel sends nothing. They post /api/sessions/purge with the rows' keys, or all for every session the trash lists; each key is checked as Restore checks it (<agent>/<name>, an agent magpie deletes for, no separators, no . or ..), and its folder, and its agent's, must be real folders in <magpie dir>/trash/sessions, not links, with the session's note (session.json) in it; only that folder goes, its note with it, so the trash lists it no more. Nothing is erased by itself: the note under the Trash now says they are kept until erased there, and magpie never erases them by itself. TestPurgeOne, TestPurgeAll, TestPurgeRefusesOutOfTrash, TestSessionsPurgeRoute and sessions-purge.test.cjs (Chromium, WebKit; en, zh) fail without the change. go vet, go build -tags nogui (darwin, GOOS=linux), GOOS=windows go build, go test -tags nogui ./... pass (TestFXInState failed once under load, passes alone and in its package); sessions-manage, sessions-toolbar, click-scroll, old-webkit pass.

app: Magpie is in the Start menu on Windows (#158: Windows 便携版首次运行后,无法在开始菜单 / 系统搜索中找到 Magpie — @Aimer779) — the Windows build is one portable exe with no installer, so nothing put it anywhere Windows search looks. Each start of the desktop app (not the CLI, TUI or serve) now makes sure %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Magpie.lnk (the Programs known folder) opens the exe it runs as, symlinks resolved, in its folder, with its icon and "Magpie" as its description; one that already does is left be, one for where the exe was before it was moved is pointed here again. It is the shell's own link, made through WScript.Shell with go-ole (already in the build through Wails, now a direct require), in the background beside the magpie:// registration, and a failure is only logged. An update replaces the exe in place, so the shortcut stays good; a magpie left running from magpie.exe.old(-N) (or .new) points it at magpie.exe, never at what was moved aside. HKCU App Paths\magpie.exe is set to the exe (and its folder) so Win+R magpie opens it too. No uninstall entry, nothing copied. MAGPIE_NO_SHORTCUT=1 skips it (tests, sandboxes); other systems do nothing. Tested with the Windows test built here and run on Windows 11: a shortcut made, left as it was on a second start, pointed at the moved exe. Run on Windows 11 as the desktop app: the shortcut made with the exe's folder and icon, pointed anew after the exe moved, left as it was on a start with nothing changed; App Paths set
usage: an Antigravity call at a level answered under its model's own name is no swap (#462: gemini-3.8-flash at medium marked Swapped, answered by gemini-3.8-flash) — on an Antigravity account a call at an effort goes out as that level's id (AntigravitySentID: gemini-3.8-flash-medium), and Cloud Code's reply names the family in modelVersion (gemini-3.8-flash), so Swapped compared gemini-3.8-flash-medium with gemini-3.8-flash and the request list and the Routing view tagged the model as swapped for itself. A sent id whose last word is an effort word (provider.EffortFamily: low, medium, high, xhigh, minimal, extra-low, extra-high) now matches a reply naming the id without it; a reply naming another level, or another model, is still a swap.
