Some room-entry failures still replaced the existing comics with standalone icons in Chinese and English, and status help required a touch hold. These pages now share the same illustrated scenes with localized explanations. Help-only indicators use native buttons and the shared Tooltip owner for click/tap, hover, keyboard and dismissal; action controls retain their actions and long-press guidance. The App preselects public invitations when no Site is saved, while retaining a saved Site's priority. Launcher metadata and its consumer agree on the existing link mode. A saved Site retains priority. - Made no-audio icons consistent and improved presentation with the system's reduced-motion setting. ## Verification - `npm run check`: TypeScript, 59 test files / 776 tests and the production Web build passed. - `npm run check:client-core`: Go tests, formatting, vet and supported local target builds passed; native macOS packaging remains on its macOS runner. - Existing Launcher HTTP tests verify both the public-link default and saved-Site priority. The browser checked both corresponding metadata responses. - 27 focused browser checks passed for native touch events, short tap, long press, drag cancellation, action preservation, keyboard dismissal and 260/390px entry layouts. - 46 overlay combinations passed across Chinese, English, pure-visual mode and 260/390/1280px, including keyboard playback and reduced motion. - A real local Server returned the missing-room state correctly in all three modes. Status-control accessibility checks, documentation and repository hygiene passed. Compatible patch. No signaling, native-control, capture or storage contract changes. Existing physical device/network deferrals remain in force.

Features
- Watch without installing. Friends join by invitation in a desktop or mobile browser.
- Share from Piik App or an existing Piik site. Capture a screen, window or browser tab; available sources and audio depend on the platform.
- Direct connections first. Media travels between participants where possible (P2P). A self-hosted server can provide automatic media forwarding (SFU) as a fallback.
- Rooms you control. Invitations, room codes and optional room passwords, for one host and up to 20 viewers.
- Flexible viewing. Light and dark themes, playback controls, picture-in-picture and a connection topology view.
- One program to host a site. Web UI, room management and optional media forwarding are packaged together.

Get started
To watch: open the invitation your friend sends you. Select Play if the picture does not start automatically.
To share:

- Select Start sharing, then choose the picture and audio to share.
- Select Copy invite link and send it to your friends. Keep the sharing tab open.
Piik uses icon controls by default; select EN in the header to show labels. The App offers a local room, a temporary public link, or a connection to your own site. Keep the App running while sharing through it.
Download a ZIP beginning with piik-app. The filename also identifies the platform:

Browser capture requires HTTPS or localhost. Windows App and desktop browser
sharing are the primary tested paths. The macOS and Linux apps have not yet been
tested on physical devices; test results and feedback are welcome.
P2P-only modes, including the App's temporary public
link and the demo, may not connect on restrictive networks.
Self-hosting
Piik Server is a standalone binary with the web interface built in. Download the Linux x64 Server package, extract it, and run:
./piik-server
Open http://localhost:8787 to try it locally. For a public site, configure your
domain, HTTPS reverse proxy and STUN address. Room data is stored in SQLite.
